New Testament Reading Series-Part 21 The Greatness of our God
Acts 6 & 8
Looking at the characters of Simon the Magician and Philip the Deacon, both “spirit-filled” men. The difference is only one has the Holy Spirit.
As we embark on our journey of faith in 2019, the REVIVE church will be reading the New Testament together over the course of the year. We will be following the schedule as it is laid out in the book, New Testament in a Year, 2017 (New English Translation). Each Sunday we will have a different person from the congregation give a short reflection on some aspect of that week’s readings. The sermon’s will also be based on texts from the readings. The daily schedule can be found on the website or the Facebook page.
May the LORD bless and enrich your time with Him as we seek Him together through His Word.
Pastor Bruce

Understanding the Sabbath (Many Scriptures)
Jesus often came into conflict with the Pharisees over Sabbath regulations. They were passionate about the Sabbath because the OT is filled with very serious rules and regulations about the Sabbath. How are we supposed to understand these teachings? Are Christians supposed to worship on the Sabbath? Are we supposed to transfer the rules governing the Sabbath onto Sunday? What rules exist about worship on Sunday?

Good Friday Message
Why the Cross?
